@Luke-haha! Crazy busy, and the crazy thing is this is only a medium chunk of the paintings I did for this project! More to come soon! :) Thanks man!
@Epic of all Epics! No worries man! it will be on again the 30th on NBC! Make sure you set your DVR to record, its one you don't want to miss! Thanks man!
@Andy-Hey Hey man!! Dude, thanks a ton for having me over! It was an absolute pleasure to hang with all you cool cats! Hopefully, I can swing by again real soon! Go OTIS!!
Mr. Simon-R! I didn't see your comment until I scrolled down again good friend! :) I'm super stoked you enjoyed it, and can't wait to see what you post next on your blog! See you soon, let's grab some coffee or lunch asap!
you mother#@!$er :D :D :D those are awesome jason!!! i'm glad you posted em, still remember when you first showed em me long time ago when we met at accd ahah do you remember?
Holy blistering fingers batman! That's an awesome boat load of work man! Can't wait to see more- looks like the 3d models came out awesome too- well done!
This is a monster post dude. Iam heavily inspired. When you paint man made/straight edged objects(buildings, mechanicals and such) do you find its more practical to 3d model them first then paintover?
Hey Re'Jean! Thank you tremendously! I am very comfortable now using 3D(Maya) models and creating layouts using different cameras(wide, long, etc) and finding lighting and occlusion. It's a fantastic starting point for creating a quick mood. Plus when in 3D we can really visualize the space for the movies. As for my personal work, I would rather challenge myself to painting in PS from scratch.. :) I would love to show you my process one of these days! I should do a demo/post soon! Talk to you soon Re'Jean!! :D
Really awesome Jason it's cool seeing the combination with the paintings and 3d models. I'm still trying to grasp 3d rendering but crap this really makes me want to dive into it more.
Hey What's up Trashy.. It's definitely the benchmark now for concept design and virtual environment creation. Knowing how our art translates into games, film, and animation. It's awesome, fun, and a great way to work!
