Vojtech- thanks so much man! Likewise man, your an amazing painter that inspires me greatly. It's my pleasure to share my work. hey Jason H. Glad you like them.. I agree about the middle two, they were more about mood. Some issues in scale. Thanks for the feedback! Hi Mr. Brubaker, hehe! I will leave this set up this time.. Publishing is scary! :) hhah
The bottom one is definitely my favorite, I'm always drawn to earthy leafy more organic images, and i love green. It has a nice range of values and hierarchy. Nice job
Hi Jung, thanks buddy! :D your latest paintings really inspire me!!
Hey Sean, long time buddy! I have not been to sketch group in ages. It's so hard to get out there after work. I'm trying to host one at my apt here in Pasadena now!
ahhh!!. the good times!! great stuff as always J. Yah Sorry I wasn't able to call you up this weekend, had a root canal done over the weekend. NO MORE PAIN. But for sure this up coming week, we should all get together.
thx for your comment , I would like to know one or two things about your work , the way that you manage your texture and what is this brush applied on BG 2 " forest soldier " on top right , it looks texturized and both dynammic like a radial motion blur added with something like noise , and I like also how you use, I mean on tis part , the texture as oil painting on canvas , I think it works very well .Photoshop ? (for sure or painter ... )
ended sorry , except one thing , this BG is awesome Congrats,Bravo as french people use to say
No problem! What I did was create a light layer that overlay's the entire image using the hard light filter in Photoshop. After placing the light layer, I applied a Radial Blur Focusing on direction. This created a beaming light shooting through the forest. The texture was created by custom brushes that I made from default brushes in PS. :) Thank you again, and I hope that helps clarify.
